The CER's highly experienced Employment Relations professionals will provide in-house services, training and support to organisations to enhance workplace relationships and practices. These services include strategy and management of Workplace Change, Disputation Resolution processes, development of Award and Enterprise Agreements, management of Conciliations and Arbitrations, Industrial Relations and EEO advice as well as assistance in the broader range of HR issues.
The CER can provide the following services on either a project consulting or retained consulting basis.
- Undertaking an organisational review of current employee relations practices.
- Developing customised critical employee relations policies and manuals.
Development of workplace agreements that pass the Fairness Test and provide benefits to employer and employees.
- Dispute resolution assistance.
- Representation at tribunals.
- Guiding and training middle managers with day to day industrial relations issues eg how to manage union entry, managing employee performance, award or agreement application to particular circumstances, harassment issues, etc.
- IR compliance audits.
- Representation with wage claims post employment.
- IR Reform and change management consultancy services in light of the ongoing changes to Workplace Relations Legislation (Fair Work Act 2009).
