A crucial part of the CER's operations is the delivery of a range of learning and development opportunities for organisations and individuals. The ongoing changes to workplace legislation needs to be understood and accommodated in the workplace. A range of programs are offered to support both the aims of the CER and the resultant application of the Fair Work Act 2009, the National Employment Standards and Modern Awards. Labor's Changes to Workplace Relations in 2009/2010

Workplace Relations and Practices Awareness Workshop (1/2 day)
The workshop is designed to introduce employees and employers to foundations of workplace relations and the implications of the Fair Work Act 2009, the National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements and how these changes will impact on your organisation and what steps should be taken to best position the organisation to manage these changes and remain compliant with the law.
Pillars of Workplace Relations and Practices (2 days)
This two day workshop has been specifically developed to assist individuals within an organisation enhance their knowledge and practical application of workplace relations so that they can support the "elevation" of others in the organisation to a well developed point from which to view and successfully implement activity to strength the workplace relationship.
Graduate Certificate in Workplace Relations and Practices (1 week residential and work based related project)
CER is currently in negotiation with a leading University regarding the accreditation of the Graduate Certificate in Workplace Relations and Practices. The program is aimed at supporting and accrediting individuals in the workplace who have responsibility for guiding workplace relations in the organisation. The CER is in the process of developing this Graduate Certificate.
Employment Relations in the Workplace Training (from 1 hour presentations to full day training sessions)
Training packages which can be modified to suit the particular needs of the business in areas such as Performance Management, Absenteeism, EEO and Harassment are available.
